Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains how [Registered business name] ("Piluvu", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use https://piluvu.com and its services. We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under them.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, used to sign you in with one-time codes. We do not use passwords.
- Creator profile data: name, handle, location, languages, niches, bio, profile and cover images, social media handles and follower counts, rate card, portfolio and audience details you choose to publish.
- Payout details (creators): account holder name, bank account number and IFSC, or UPI ID — used only to pay you. Bank account numbers, UPI IDs and holder names are stored encrypted.
- Billing details: legal name, GSTIN, PAN and billing address, if you provide them for invoices.
- Collaboration data: collab requests, messages exchanged with brands or creators, and files and links you upload or share.
- Training enrolment data: the programme you enrol in and the WhatsApp number you give us so our team can contact you.
- Payment data: payment amounts, status and Razorpay transaction references. Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never stored by us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, used for security, fraud prevention and rate limiting.
2. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To show creator profiles to brands and match creators with campaigns and collaborations.
- To process payments, issue invoices and send payouts to creators.
- To send service emails — sign-in codes, collab updates, invoices and security alerts. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
- To deliver training programmes you enrol in.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- Other users: a creator's public profile is visible to everyone; collab details and messages are visible only to the brand and creator involved.
- Razorpay — payment processing, refunds and bank (IFSC) verification.
- MSG91 — delivery of service emails.
- Google (YouTube Data API) and X — to fetch the public follower counts of channels you connect. Use of YouTube data is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the service's data on our behalf.
- Authorities, when required by law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If your account is deleted, your public profile and campaigns are removed from view, but records of payments, invoices and payouts are retained for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require.
5. Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Sensitive payout details are encrypted at rest, sign-in uses one-time codes with attempt limits, and access to data is restricted to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
6. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your browser stores only your sign-in token, to keep you signed in, and your light/dark theme preference.
7. Your rights
You can access and correct most of your data from your dashboard. You can also ask us to provide a summary of your data, correct it, or delete your account, and withdraw consent you have given, by emailing support@piluvu.com. We respond within 30 days. Records we must keep by law (such as invoices) are retained as described above.
8. Children
The service is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Grievance officer
For any complaint about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer:

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above will change, and we will notify you of significant changes by email. See also our Terms & Conditions.
